Tom Lane – AKA Ginger Monkey – is an independent graphic designer based in Liverpool, specialising in bespoke lettering, branding, package design, illustration and typography. His work spans luxury start-ups to global brands, grounded in a process built on trust, clarity and close collaboration. He develops ideas by hand—on paper or digitally—and shapes every detail with precision to create work with real craft and character. Strongly influenced by traditional techniques from gilding and etching to Americana and Japanese woodblock printing, Tom isn’t interested in pastiche; he uses these references to build authentic, cohesive visuals that feel emotionally true, brand-relevant and unmistakably contemporary.
